The 'OnBoard Diagnostics 2' port (OBD-II, OBDII, OBD2 for short) is a 16-pin socket/port found on cars and light trucks. Primarily used to check vehicle diagnostics with a scanner, they have also made it very convenient to power devices such as GPS trackers so that manual wiring is no longer required.
